EST 1944

The Dallas Chamber Music Society, established in 1944 as the Elmer Scott Concert Series, was incorporated ten years later by Dorothea and Bartram Kelley as The Dallas Chamber Music Society. The Society has presented the world’s most respected chamber ensembles since its origin and continues this legacy of excellence today. Our history includes performances by such groups as
the Borodin, Amadeus, Guarneri and Emerson quartets. With Caruth Auditorium at Southern Methodist University as its main stage,
the Dallas Chamber Music Society continues its central focus on presenting the very best chamber music possible.
